Little Nothings

someone recently left this comment on my blog:
If a lot of the women were not so fast with themselves, then they would not be in front of the courts begging for money.
Keep their legs shut.
i decided not to post it because i was not willing to waste time & effort responding. i subsequently received this comment from the same person:
Coward
Were you afraid that if you posted my comment too many people might agree with me and you could not allow that take place?
Censorship is never good, you coward!
i just love how the internet brings out the best in people…

lol..for every fast woman there is an even faster man who if he wasn’y so fast won’t be dragged to the courts.
Have the same problem my side and folk get even more vex when I say if I don’t print what they say to get their own blog
I have found that it is best to be gracious to comments that you disagree with. The only posts I have deleted were spam and off-topic (this is a long story). Many times they have been disarmed by the calm response and gained a new perspective to consider.
I think people think that it is unfair that even though a child is equally both parents’ genetically only the woman has a right to decide whether or not the child should be born until the actual birth at which point the man’s responibility becomes enforceable by law.
Men say: “If a woman can object (i.e. abortion) at any time up to birth, why can’t I?”
To which others would say: “Well he should have thought about that before he…”
See where it comes from?
If men are responsible for thinking before they act sexually, so are women.
The sexual revolution might not have worked. People need to get back into thinking abut sex (or at the very least–families) in terms of committed relationships (marriage). It is by far the most stable social arrangement.
my blog is one among millions with very little traffic. by taking responsibility for what is posted here i am by no means stopping anyone from expressing their point of view.
Don’t worry. I’ve faced more of those “Internet tough guys” than I can count.
I agree with T’dad about being gracious when anonymous persons make rude comments. BUT. There are times when I can’t resist a bit of sarcasm…when I’m tired, stressed or sad.
I once read an MSN article, written by someone in the US. The writer worked in a place where she had to take calls from many anonymous people who were often rude…very rude.
Then the business place got some technology with which they could identify the callers’ addresses, etc, and rude callers were told this…they apologised and tried to be nice.
Conclusion, when people feel they can get away with being rude, they try to.
“anonymous people”
I was not anonymous.
